Ryan Corey is a Los Angeles based graphic designer / typographer / type designer who seeks to provoke the viewer in an attempt to shatter complacency and encourage positive thinking. Extending graphic language to other areas of thinking and form making, Corey constantly tries to defy convention and create from a different perspective; to go beyond preconceived notions.
His work is included in The UC Davis Design Museum’s permanent collection and has been recognized by Adobe Systems, The Art Director’s Club, and the record industry. His work has appeared in the international journals STEP, I.D. and Communication Arts. Corey received his BFA from the California Institute of the Arts where he has returned to teach workshops. Ryan travels locally, nationally and abroad and has lived with Eskimo Tribes.
